Xmas 2025: Games, Gifts, and Castle Dinner

If December had a motto, it would be “holiday mode: fully activated.” And this year, we didn’t just lean into it – we went all in.

The day kicked off at the office, where things got festive fast. Santa hats made appearances, holiday sweaters did their thing, and within minutes, the space turned into a full-on game zone. Tables were lined, cups stacked, and ping pong balls were flying like it was a professional sport (or at least… highly competitive).

From quick reflex challenges to team-based chaos, the energy stayed high and the cheering got loud. Whether you were playing or spectating, there was no escaping the excitement. Bonus points to those documenting the action—there’s now solid evidence of both impressive wins and questionable techniques.

Then came the Secret Santa exchange—equal parts wholesome and unpredictable. Some gifts were thoughtful, some were hilarious, and a few had everyone wondering how long that inside joke had been brewing. Either way, it delivered exactly what it should: laughs, surprises, and a reminder that this team knows each other very well.

Just when we thought the day had peaked, we took things up a level – literally.

The team headed to Casa Loma’s BlueBlood Steakhouse, and the setting did not disappoint. A castle lit up in deep blue, holiday lights glowing, and illuminated reindeer out front – it felt like we walked straight into a winter postcard.

Inside, the night unfolded the way great dinners do: slowly, deliciously, and with zero complaints.

Cocktails arrived first (some with a bit of theatrical smoke – always appreciated), followed by a lineup of dishes that made it very clear we were ending the year properly. Sushi, seafood, perfectly cooked steaks, rich sides—every round somehow topped the last.

And then, just when we thought we were done… dessert had other plans.

From beautifully plated sweets to a custom Aware Ads holiday cake and a full tower of mini desserts, it turned into one of those “we’ll just try one” situations that no one actually followed.

No deadlines, no meetings, no inboxes – just good people, great food, and a full day of celebrating what we’ve built together.

From office games and inside jokes to dinner in a castle (casual), this year’s holiday party checked every box.

Big thanks to everyone who showed up ready to play, laugh, and fully embrace the chaos and charm of the season.

Here’s to a strong finish to 2025 – and an even better year ahead.

🥂 Cheers to the holidays!
