  • Business Development Manager

    Oasis ads media a division of aware ads inc is a performance marketing company specializing in Cost Per Acquisition CPA marketing

    We are currently looking for a full-time Business Development Manager to work out of our Toronto office.

    The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include:

    • Prospecting online for new advertising clients, as well as managing any assigned accounts and incoming leads.
    • Regularly managing your client base and relationship building through e-mail, phone, instant messaging and/or social media. You must be available to your advertisers 24/7, as our business is NOT a 9-5 business.
    • Recognizing new revenue opportunities with your advertiser base by regularly reviewing and recommending campaigns that match your advertiser’s specialty.
    • Negotiating payouts, budgets, and payment terms with advertisers.
    • Monitoring affiliate (traffic) performance to ensure campaign budgets are exhausted, and traffic is top quality.
    • Meet and exceed sales goals and targets.
    • Develop, maintain and manage an active pipeline of accounts across a variety of verticals.
    • Monitoring your account receivables on a daily basis to ensure payments are up to date.
    • Travel to tradeshows in the US and/or Europe.

    Qualifications:

    • Excellent knowledge of online software including the Microsoft Office suite. Familiarity with tracking system software (i.e. Hitpath, Direct Track, Cake, LinkTrust, HasOffers, etc.) is preferred but not required.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • The ability to multi-task and respond to questions/concerns in a timely manner.
    • Strong organizational skills, and the ability to be a dependable team player.
    • Outgoing personality, and the ability to work independently and efficiently without requiring micro-management.
    • Minimum one (1) year of online marketing or advertising experience preferred.
    • Minimum of one (1) year of inside sales experience preferred.
    • College or University degree in a related field.

    Compensation package consists of salary + commission. Benefits will be offered following a probationary period. Preference will be given to candidates with online marketing knowledge or experience.

    We build and maintain a wide variety of products ranging from content sites, mobile apps and social games. We’re looking to add a front-end developer with strong ability in design.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • You’ll be the connection between marketing, product, creative, and technology, ensuring that everyone’s needs are met and reflected in the final product.
    • Help plan product features and initiatives by providing a design and front-end perspective
    • Create mockups and prototypes for websites and mobile apps
    • Development using front-end web technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
    • Code with a consideration for semantic correctness, performance, maintainability, and security
    • Capture requirements, create documentation and communicate with stakeholders

    Requirements:

    • Portfolio that demonstrates your ability in both graphic and web design.
    • Strong understanding of the importance of designing to meet business and project objectives.
    • Strong conceptual skills, a meticulous eye for detail, and the ability to take a project from inception to completion.
    • Three or more years of JavaScript/JQuery, CSS and HTML targeting web, tablet, and mobile browsers.
    • Experienced in using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier, After Effects, etc).
    • Expert knowledge of usability and UI/UX best practices.
    • Experience working with reusable UI components and templating server and client side.
    • Experience integrating third party APIs.
    • Ability to read, write, and optimize front-end code for performance and robustness.
    • Comfort with start-up environments; You’re nimble in your thinking, and you understand how quickly priorities can shift in a start-up environment.
    • Experience with version control.
    • Experience with web animation.

    Nice To Have:

    • Video Editing and Animation experience.
    • Front-end development for mobile platforms (Android and iOS).
    • Understanding of SEO; the ability to optimize front-end implementation for SEO.
    • Experience with PHP or full-stack development.
    • Drupal experience.
