Xmas 2024: Work Hard, Holiday Harder

Ah, the holiday season – once again bringing sweaters that light up, enough treats to sink a sleigh, and stories that will live on in office lore. This year’s Christmas bash was no exception, and it all started right in the office.

We kicked off the festivities with a well-deserved celebration for Hayden, who took home the Employee of Q3 award. Cue the applause, a few jokes about how Hayden will now have to guard his lunch from “borrowing,” and a quick photo op for posterity. Well done, Hayden – you earned it!

Next, it was time for the much-anticipated Ugly Sweater Contest. Dan, Vetura, Zach, and Nigel didn’t hold back this year. Sequins? Check. Flashing lights? Check. Sweaters that looked like they escaped from the North Pole itself? CHECK CHECK CHECK. There was just the right mix of holiday cheer and chaos as everyone admired (and survived) these fashion masterpieces.

With the sweaters judged and laughs had, we moved into the ever-fun Secret Santa gift exchange. There were heartfelt gifts, a few gag gifts (we see you, mystery giver of the giant candy cane), and enough surprises to keep things interesting. And yes, there’s always that one gift that becomes an instant crowd favorite.

Next up? The food contests – because what’s a holiday party without a little culinary competition? With cash prizes on the line, the stakes were higher than ever. Smack talk was plentiful, and alliances crumbled as quickly as gingerbread.

The boys were READY to rip up those boxes.

Finally, we wrapped things up at Morton’s Steakhouse with a well-earned feast. The food? Unbelievable. The desserts? Endless. The jokes? Nonstop. Somewhere between the mashed potatoes and the dessert tray, plans for sweater domination in 2025 were already in motion.

By the end of the night, we had enough photos, stories, and inside jokes to fuel water cooler conversations well into next year. And, as always, the best part was celebrating together – another year of big wins, wild ideas, and crazy good times. Here’s to an even bigger, brighter, and maybe even sillier holiday bash in 2025. Cheers!
