Boo-tiful Moments from Halloween 2022

As the leaves turned golden and the Halloween spirit swept through Oasis, our annual costume contest brought out the best, the funniest, and the downright weirdest sides of our team. From iconic characters to unique creations, this year’s lineup was a fantastic display of imagination and humor.

First on stage was Bane, straight out of The Dark Knight Rises—our own masked vigilante ready to take on Gotham (or at least the office). With a serious gaze and the iconic mask, he struck a pose that could’ve intimidated any trick-or-treater. Some say he even muttered “you merely adopted the costumes; I was born in them” as he paced the room.

Next up, we had a mixed cast that brought some color and smiles to the day. There was a banana costume (because why not bring a potassium-packed fruit to a Halloween party?), who definitely kept things a-peel-ing.

Then came Mario, decked out in full plumber gear, ready to save Princess Peach from office boredom. With a little flourish, Mario was seen hopping around and giving thumbs up all day, adding a playful energy that kept spirits high.A huge shout-out goes to Zeus, our very own mighty god of thunder, who reminded us all that Halloween isn’t just for mortals. Complete with a laurel crown and a look that could make lightning strike at will, Zeus managed to electrify the whole office without ever needing a lightning bolt. He certainly made sure to bring the thunder—and the costume was a hit from the moment it made its grand entrance.

Throughout the day, laughter echoed down the hallways, with each costume creating its own buzz and adding to the magic of the occasion. From heroic stances to hilarious group photos, the Oasis 2022 Halloween costume contest reminded us why we look forward to this day every year. The creativity and camaraderie on display made it clear that Halloween isn’t just about spooky tales—it’s about coming together to have fun, share laughs, and celebrate our wonderfully quirky team.

Until next Halloween, here’s to more laughs, more costumes, and more memorable moments. And if you’re reading this as a future contestant, remember: go big, be bold, and maybe bring a side of trick-or-treat candy to sweeten the judges!
